Ken Martini was born in New York City in 1950. He is currently the CEO of Gate Depot (gatedepot.com) and CEO of Wine Interview (wineinterview.com). Primarily self educated with a working knowledge of electronics. Ken moved to California in 1970 and has resided in Sonoma California since 1975. He became an electrical contractor in 1980 doing primarily commercial installation and machine control work.

Sculptural Gates was started in 1987 by Ken, it is a contracting firm that designs, fabricates, and installs automated ornamental iron gates. The company was recognized nationally by architects for its high level of craftsmanship and artistic design. This firm was an early internet adapter being one of the first companies in its category with web presence.

Ken Started Gate Depot in 2003 and sold Sculptural Gates in 2004. Gate Depot receives 30,000 hits a day and contains approximately 5,000 pages. It is considered the best electronic gate access and automation website by many in the industry. It consistently is in 1st and 2nd place for almost all its products on most search engines. Ken went to China in 2004 and setup a gate fabricating factory that is now the primary supplier of gates for the firm.

The gate business being successful, and time on his hands, Ken started Wine Interview. The startup is soon to officially launch its website. The site is primarily a wine entertainment destination with a strong e-commerce section. Having self financed his former startups, and provided seed money for Wine Interview he is now looking for funding to take this venture to the next level.
