3D Drawing Of Gate With Automation & Internal Skeletons
This drawing features an installation that has skeletons, grade beam, and a control panel that is flush mounted in one of the columns. Ram arms require a niche when column mounting. The skeletons have a 3" round pipe located on the top for the light fixture collars to mount to. There is conduit that extends to the top of the column where the antenna is mounted.
This is a skeleton that has a lighting collar on top, a mounting plate for a flush mount control box, and a niche for a linear arm style gate operator. The niche serves as a cavity for the operator to swing into when gate is in the open position. See Linear arm drawing for more details

The picture below shows an equipment vault attached to a skeleton. The vault will be flush mounted to the column. A vault like this may contain the control board for the gate, timer and photo cell for the lighting, low voltage transformer for lighting, irrigation control, etc. This vault is a feature that is usually associated with top end installations. This skeleton was designed for swing arm gate operators located behind the column.
