Uphill Swing Gate Hinge
Uphill gate hinges can be purchased ready-made, see: Swing Gate Hardware. We manufacture an Uphill Bearing Hinge Kit. Advantages to these hinges are that they are commercial quality and have a convenient-to-replace bearing that bolts in. Most commercially available uphill hinges are weld-on and have to be cut out to be replaced.

Automation: When automating an uphill swing gate the operator must have an articulated joint where it connects to the gate. The Eagle, Ramset, and Elite swing arm style operators are available with this option. The Doorking operators can be used but have to be mounted on an angle. Hydraulic or mechanical linear arm operators cannot be used for this application.
