Measuring Gate

Multiply the width by the height.
Use the highest point of the vertical dimension to measure from.
This will give you the square footage of the gate.
Measure two piece gates as if it were one.

Measuring Between Columns and Posts

Provide measurement between columns or posts.

Optional Bottom Panels increase the strength of a gate, give it a grounded appearance, and hides gate operating equipment.

Measuring Bottom Panels:
measure entire panel using inches, then divide by 144
Sample: 8"x156"=1248 ÷144= 8.666 round off to 9

Castings may be added to sides and centers and bottoms on all gates. Castings may be added to tops on rectangular gates. Vertical panels may cost more due to length.
