Please note that these are the heaviest gates available on the market and are designed to last over a hundred years with proper maintenance.

Surface welds are ground down to be undetectable in most circumstances. Weep holes are placed throughout gate to vent moisture and prevent internal rusting. Hinge pins are reinforced and placed on 3/8" steel plate for added strength.

Guardian Series and Spartan Series: 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" tubular steel (approximately 1/8" wall thickness)

Inside vertical frame:

Stakes:
Elegant Series and Classic Series: 1"x1"x.095" tubular steel (approximately 1/10" wall thickness) Stakes are 5" OC (4" space between stakes)
Guardian Series and Spartan Series: 3/4"x3/4"x.095" tubular steel (approximately 1/10" wall thickness) Stakes are 5-1/2" OC (4" space between stakes)

Scrolls: Typically 1"x1/4" Flat bar. Ends are forged with deep fish tail embossing.

Posts: 5"x5"x.188" and 6"x6"x.188" (approximately 3/16" wall thickness)

Hinge Plates: Made of 3/8" thick plate steel with 1/2"x1" bolt slots for adjustment.

Grapes, Olives, and Roses: Hand forged vines. Grapes are solid steel 1/2" & 3/4" balls Leaves are heavy gauge pressed steel.

Finish: Gate is powder coated with 1 base coat and 1 finish coat. Life expectancy 15 years.

Weight gates: 12' gates approximately 350lbs 14' gates approximately 400lbs.

Weight posts: 5"x5"x9'= 97lbs each, 6"x6"x9'= 115lbs each.
