Uphill Swing Gate Hinge |
|
Uphill gate hinges can be purchased ready-made, see: Swing Gate Hardware. Most commercially available uphill hinges are weld-on and have to be cut out to be replaced. Automation: When automating an uphill swing gate the operator must have an articulated joint where it connects to the gate. The Eagle, Ramset, and Elite swing arm style operators are available with this option. The Doorking operators can be used but have to be mounted on an angle. Hydraulic or mechanical linear arm operators cannot be used for this application. |

Gates can be installed on graded driveways. The type of installtion will vary depending on the grade. On extreme grades where the rise is 2" per foot or greater it is recomended that the gate swing out, or be a slide gate. |
