The BA-200 is used
to monitor or control access to Gated Communities, Private Parking
Lots, Schools, Universities, Hospitals, Airports, Toll Bridges,
etc. It reads the barcode decals placed on the side windows of vehicles
and signals the gate to open. Vehicles without a valid decal can
be denied entrance. The BA-200 can read the decals
from 6 ft. away and on a vehicle moving up to 25mph.

The BA-200 barcode reader is a moving
beam laser scanner designed to read retro-reflective barcode labels
on moving vehicles. It is an ideal access control reader for gated
communities, airports, parking garages, hospitals, government installations,
and rental car lots. Housed in a durable painted aluminum enclosure,
the reader works around the clock, easing the workload of gatekeepers
and security personnel.
The reader can be used with or without a vehicle
detector loop. When a vehicle approaches, the reader decodes the
decal and validates the ID Number. The gate raises and the vehicle
continues through the lane at speeds up to 25 miles per hour. Decals
can be read at distances of six feet even in extreme temperatures
and weather conditions. |
