CelAccess Cellular Access

CelAccess products can open and control virtually any electronic opening system ranging from the simplest gate operator or pedestrian gate lock to the heavier duty overhead garage or dock doors to the most sophisticated solenoid, magnetic or strike locks. The command to open can be sent via telephone, either land based or cellular, or the internet, from anywhere in the world to any gate, door or lock anywhere in the United States where cellular service exists.

CelAccess products also have the capability to receive an input from any monitoring device, ranging from sophisticated special intrusion sensors to virtually any system that provides an alarm condition to the simplest magnetic limit switch monitoring whether the door gate is open or closed. One of the other unique features of CelAccess is that it can be installed in conjunction with any other access control system from card readers and keypads to the more sophisticated eye and finger print scanners.

CelAccess offers its customers a web-based user interface, that is robust and yet simple to use. Once logged in the CelAccess website, a customer can create unlimited access codes with varying limiting conditions from a range of dates to a specific time and day of the week to a certain number uses and view, print and export a detailed report of all activity of any gate door or lock in their account including time of day, the type of command that sent, the access code that was used, the caller ID if a phone is used to send the command and the result of the command, and whether the gate or door is open or closed.

Can I use CelAccess products to open the gate, door or lock for an extended period of time?
Yes, if supported by your electronic gate, door or lock, the CG-1010 will let you use the web site or phone to cycle the device open using the timer in the gate , door or lock controller, or you can have it remain open for up to 72 hours. The CTE-1000 Cellular Telephone Entry System also lets you send momentary or latch open commands.
How can I tell who enters my property?
Unlike keypads or remote control devices, all transactions using CelAccess products are logged on the web site. You can sort them by date/time or even by access code and find out exactly who entered and when. In order for this feature to be most helpful, be sure to give each person their own personal access code.
Is cellular coverage required?
Most CelAccess devices use advanced wireless data technology and operates on the AT&T/Cingular and T-Mobile GPRS networks. Please check coverage at http://www.celaccess.com/ckcoverage. In addition, when using the GC-1010 Cellular Access Controller, those persons entering the property will need to call the CelAccess automated service line, so they need to have a cell phone.
Is CelAccess really secure?
Yes! All commands and voice connections are sent through CelAccess’ servers which validate the gate/door number and access codes. Open commands are then transmitted to the remote device using advanced digital technology. To maximize the security, you should not give your access code to anyone. In addition, personal access codes given to others should be set to expire thus preventing their unwanted use.

CelAccess products are part of a turnkey service which includes the wireless data service and web application with unlimited access codes, reporting and email alerts all for one low monthly fee.

Because CelAccess is a web application, there is no software to install and the application can be used anywhere with Internet access. The application is powerful while being extremely easy to use. CelAccess uses advanced GPRS data which is highly reliable, secure and fast. The wireless data is provided using the AT&T (formerly Cingular) network for most customers. Other options are available should coverage be an issue.

The WIM-1000 will allow any Wiegand compatible device to operate anywhere cellular network service is available, without the expense and complexity of a local master control system. The WIM1000 is simply wired directly to the Wiegand device at the electronic door, gate or lock. Access codes read from Wiegand devices are then received and transmitted via the cellular network to the Automated Control Center where access codes set up by the customer and verified. Once verified, the Automated Control Center sends a command back to the WIM1000 to open door, gate or lock…all in 3 seconds or less.

The CelAccess GC-1010 is a totally cellular based, server managed, access control system and is also the only one on the market today. There are no line of sight requirements or distance limitations... if there is cellular service available, any electronic gate, door or lock can be controlled. A resident or business owner, as well as their guests and employees, can use a cell phone or an internet connection to control access to any residential or business property. It is the ideal solution for any remote facility or facilities that currently have no access control system.

The CelAccess CTE-1000 is a totally cellular based telephone entry system and the only one on the market today. Being a cellular system, there are no trenches to dig, no hard wired connections to run, no line of sight requirements and no distance limitations.
