FAAC Limit Kit For Model 400

FAAC Limit Kit

All FAAC ram arm operators requires that the gate have mechanical stop limits. This is a time consuming task which this device eliminates. FAAC hydraulic operators do not have limit switches and rely on a pressure relief valve to regulate how much pressure is exerting on operation. The hydraulic pump is timed to run long enough for the gates to open or close. A limit has to be installed to prevent the gate from overextending. It is also important not to let the hydraulic cylinder bottom out in either direction. If the cylinder bottoms out it destroys the valves in about in one year of operation.
