• Composed of the intuitive EMWin software and the battery-backed EMC intelligent controller.
• EMWin software can be installed on Windows 98, 2000,NT or Xp operating systems and manages up to 3,000 individual cardholders.

• Allows individuals, such as a physically challenged person, to have their access code configured for a longer unlock time to gain access through a door.
• Automatic start and end card dates define a point in the future where an employee's or visitor's card will be active in the system and can gain access, or deactivate the user based on the day, such as the end of the month.
• The controllers can be upgraded, such as adding features, without having to travel to the location. The software that resides in RAM can be upgraded from the host computer, saving time and labor. The controllers communicate to the host computer via the RS485 protocol, allowing distances of up to 4,000 feet from the host PC.
