Sentex MINIkey Access Control System

The MINIkey is a self-contained keypad system for the control of door and gated entrances. For applications that require an entry and exit keypad, or for control of a secondary entry point, the MINIkey supports an optional remote keypad unit that connects directly to the main unit. Both the MINIkey and remote keypad units are engineered to be rugged and vandal-resistant and will enhance the site with a well-crafted look for interior or exterior use. They consist of a brushed stainless steel faceplate with a recessed side-lit metal keypad for excellent visibility day or night. Despite its compact size, the MINIkey is loaded with many features not normally found in other single door and gated entry access control systems.

In the event power is removed from the unit, the database information is retained in the memory, ensuring immediate start-up and operation when power is restored.

Physical inputs and power connections contain some protection against typical voltage spikes. However, in an area where lightning is prevalent, external surge suppressors should be used to minimize damage to the system.
