These proximity card readers are system expansion devices for the Access Plus System using RS-485 communication protocols. This provides a simple means of connecting devices with wire runs up to 4000 feet from the access controller. These devices cannot be used as stand-alone products.

The DKS 1815-233 is a 1815-216 (AWID SR 2400) Reader on a Surface Mounted Enclosure.
