Product Details

These proximity card readers output the card data to the access controller (1833, 1835, 1837, or 1838) where the decision to grant or deny access is made. Ideal for both pedestrian and vehicular access control. Proximity cards transmit their information to the card reader without any physical contact. This provides an easy to use, vandal resistant system. Access is granted when a valid card is presented to the card reader.

The DoorKing 1815-380 HID ProxPoint Plus Proximity Card Reader combines an attractive, inconspicuous design with an economical price. The ProxPoint Plus is designed for mounting directly onto metal with no change in read range performance and has a read range of up to 3 inches. Its secure potted electronics are ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. Features include a tri-state LED and beeper.
