The Dorado 544 Insertion Magnetic Stripe Card Reader is a proven performer installed at thousands of sites worldwide. From security access to process control applications, the Dorado 544 Card Reader is the reader for projects when security cannot be compromised but where cost is an issue.
The Dorado 544 Magnetic Stripe Card Reader is capable of reading tracks 1, 2, 3 and provides Wiegand 26-bit, 34-bit, all bits Wiegand, and Clock-and-Data outputs.
Dual-Technology reader - For the client who is migrating from magnetic stripe to the convenience of proximity, Dorado offers a unique reader that can process both types of cards in one unit. This allows the client to manage the greatest cost of conversion by eliminating rebadging the card population.
The Dorado 544 Insertion Magnetic Stripe Card Reader features upward insertion from the bottom of the case to minimize the effects of dust, water, debris, and vandalism. It is available in either black or white with a bi-color LED (red/green) to indicate card read status.
