POWDER-COATED ALUMINUM VERSES PAINTED STEEL

The polyester powder-coating applied to our gates contains a titanium dioxide UV inhibitor. The 3-5 mil coating thickness as applied to our gates is rated by the powder manufacturer to provide "Very Good" hardness, corrosion protection, and chemical resistance. The rating for flexibility, overall stability, and exterior durability is "Excellent" as compared to urethane and epoxy/polyester hybrids. The coating will not chip, peel or corrode. The life expectancy of our finish exceeds that of most painted finishes, however "chalking" is to be expected in time with any applied coating whether it is painted or powder-coated. When the time comes to refresh the appearance of your gates the powder-coating will still be intact and will provide and excellent base for painting. Normal paint preparation is all that will be required. We endeavor to provide the most durable, and attractive, maintenance free product in the industry.

SWING GATE HINGE:

The most important part of any swing gate is the hinge. Our swing gates are built with the most innovative hinges in the industry. Our polytech hinge block is self lubricating. The adjustable pin is available for either post or column mounting.

WALK GATES:

We offer our standard styles as well as custom designed pedestrian gates. Hardware necessary to mount a latch or lock is fitted at your request.

CANTILEVER GATES:

Our roller and track hanging system provides a solid but good looking solution to the problem of how to hang ornamental gates. The use of a dual v-track assembly as an integral part of our gate allows us to mount curved and finial top gates with no problem. We use ball bearing polytech wheels for smooth and quiet operation.

ENCLOSED TRACK CANTILEVER GATES:

We offer a gate with this type of suspension system for applications where the look of an enclosed track system is desired. The gate is supported and guided by a C-track which encases the small rollers of a truck and trolley assembly.
